12/31/2006 - A shedding... |
The above little painting was done several years ago about growing up with my mother. It was very cathartic to do and surprising as well... it kind of came to me suddenly without warning, and turned out to be the beginning of some pretty major realizations.
Much healing has happened the past two years! Hurray! As a celebration I am wanting to purge my studio of a lot of my old drawings, paintings etc. (You can snag some of them if you want from my etsy store.)
I want to continue to let go of the past and embrace the future... I am looking forward to 2007 ... lots of art, lots of Star Trek with Wes, lots of girlfriend talk time (phone-email-in person)... Please be a part of my journey!

It sounds like we have a lot in common. I'm moving into a healing phase of my life as well. I looking forward to a happy and healthy 2007! I plan on surrounding myself with good friends and happy times. Of course Art is a big part of this! I wish you good luck on your life journey!
