I decided to make myself a journal over the holidays. It couldn't be too big, because I get bored easily. Plus, I don't write every day, so a "normal" journal could take me a year to finish. This is not good at all... I have shelves full of 1/3 completed journals. These journals are perfect for me (32 pages). I finish them in about a month. Boredom solved.
I am not doing the best today. My first clue was when I burst into tears at the mention of doing our taxes. (Steve and I have been married 15 years... he wisely said, "Let's do them tomorrow. When you feel better.") I am trying to keep myself busy with mindless tasks today and wait until I have more energy to tackle the big things.
I'm 43. I like being this age. I am so much more self-forgiving now!

Taxes are the pits....you sound so much like me in many ways. To hear the words "It will work out" are shallow....How will it work out, who is going to do what, what is the gameplan...on and on and on....So we're selling the company and I am not getting what was promised. Mike wants me to be able to stay home if I like, yet he just lost his job today, daughter is pregnant with second child and we just spent too much in getting her established while other daughter let us down on her watching our place while we were at my parents...Never fails that it always seems darkest before it turns pitch black....CRAP....Tears come to easy today, and it doesn't matter what about. This too shall pass and you and I will survive through it because that is what we do....Best of everything to you as you deserve it.

Hi there - I am so in love with your journals! I saw the one on this post and then I thought how much you should sell them and I looked back a post and found them and LOVED THEM! I am going to come back tomorrow and look at everything you have. As always, I LOVE!!

| My daughter and I loved your journal. I totally know how you feel about taxes, I finally figured out that I was going to let my husband \"deal\" with it and now he takes it and has it done. You can even deduct the price of having them done from you taxes the next year if you have a business. wink wink |
