It’s almost 9 PM and it is very peaceful here.  Mikie is sound asleep with his heart rate in the 80’s, plus or minus 10.  Lorraine stayed last night, I’m staying tonight.  He is in pretty good shape right now, but last night wasn’t so great.  His heart rate got up in the 150’s and they had a hard time getting him to come down.  His temp went up as well and they gave in and gave him some Motrin, since he is fighting this urinary tract infection as well.  I think it is clearing up pretty fast now.  I think any little thing will upset the apple cart.  I noticed him pulling one arm back like it bothered him and so I had the nurse take out the IV in that hand, since the PICC line in the other arm was working well.  Wow, I just checked his pulse, it is down in the 60’s and 70’s.  I’m going to try to catch a couple of hours of sleep now.
