I didn’t think they would send us home on a weekend, but it’s not over yet.  The only thing keeping us is his Central line, once they are happy with it’s function and there are no more complications with it then they should turn us loose.  He has had a couple of really good days.  There is hope that he might gradually get some of his old awareness back.  I noticed he that when he is awake now his pulse is generally lower than it was and he has about 1 and ½ eyes open now.  Both arms are healing well from all the damage the PICC lines did and the incision around the CVL is not bleeding anymore.
