Sorry about being slow with the updates, but I have been running and my computer went down this morning.  Since he is in ICU and we once again have cell phones we aren't hanging around the waiting area like we used to so I can't send from my laptop. This is a pic I snapped with my cell phone yesterday. 

He looks a little better today but is still quite uncomfortable. He got the larger tube out today, so he is breathing on his own.  But he is still quite uncomfortable.  His stats are pretty good, though he is working hard and his heart rate is up in the mid 120's.  His color looks great and his urine output is also clear and of sufficient quantity.  He is definitely on the mend!

We're praying his nurse will be able to help him get the pain relief he needs.
