WE finally made it out of the ICU.  We got there for the 8:30 PM visit and they told us to go up to room 1126 and wait.  It just toook a little while and in he came.  Mikie is still quite uncomfortable, though he seemed to calm down a lot after we got him settled in, and then he got agitated again and had a nasty little seizure.  They gave him something for pain and Molly (one of his his new nurses) said she was going to see about getting him some ativan. We finally got out of there around 10:30 PM.  Lorraine was going to stay but they said Mikie had two nurses tonight and they could handle him, and we are only a phone call away.  So we are home, though quit worn out. 

Surgery tomorrow around 1 PM to close the skin on the incision.  The doc expects no complications but you never know.  They don't even expect to put him all the way under.

We promised to pray for Jimmy's brother Jack who was hurt in a motorcycle accident, and Toni, who is another patient in ICU having a very difficult time getting better.  We also are praying for Barbara's sister who is having a very hard time being weaned off a ventilator.  She is in her 60's but like Mikie is much younger in her mind, probably about 8.
