I just got back from the 5:30 AM visit, Mikie is very stable and resting well.  His heart rate is down to less than 110, though his blood pressure was a little low and temp was up just a bit.  It's the most comfortable he has been in days, maybe weeks.  I really believe his system was waking up and the pain was just intolerable for him.

I also think some of his health care workers were interpreting DNR as Do Not Treat, or just don't worry about him, as "He is DNR."  We didn't come this far just to give up.
