…not Mikie, but Lorraine. She gets cut on this coming Tuesday at or
around 9 AM. The plan at this point is
that she will be in Lexington
Medical Center
until next Friday or Saturday. Then she
should be able to go to HealthSouth for rehab for a few days and hopefully home
by the holiday.
Mikie is just doing
fantastic. His incision is healing
nicely, but will likely not be healed enough to stop putting a dressing on it
for a few more weeks. A few weeks ago
his average heart rate was probably around 120 or so and now I would put it at
80-90. Urine output is quite normal in
quantity and clarity, food intake is at least four cans, sometimes five. It’s still pretty loose coming out the other
end but at least it happens more frequently than it did in the past. (Although
it is difficult to take him anywhere because of the frequency, if you know what
I mean and I think you do.) I haven’t
seen a seizure in a week or so, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t had one. We just could not expect Mikie to be doing any
better than he is right now.
I just got my desktop computer
back up but I have a lot of rebuilding to do.
I haven’t tried to recover any of my data from any of the five hard
drives I had in the system. I’m going to
hook them up one at a time with an external drive case and with a USB cable to
see what I can get from them. It’s nice
to be able to use Outlook to handle my email again instead of using webmail. If you think of it drop me an email do I can
rebuild my address book. Send it to mkimble@sc.rr.com.
