Lorraine has a nice new hip joint now.  Everything went about as planned.  We were able to get her up out of the bed standing for just a minute or two and even a few steps but that was about all she could do.  Except for some nausea she is doing pretty well.  I’m back home with Mikie to get him settled in for a while and then back to see her later.  If anyone would like to visit her at Lexington Medical Center she is in room 571 in the North Tower, the new part of the hospital.
