...though that is my opinion from just looking at her.  She still complains of some pain but not like she was before the surgery.  I'd say she finally got some relief.  She sat up most of the day in a chair and the fine folks from PT got her up on her feet twice and made her take a few steps.  At this point it looks as if she will be discharged Friday and go to HealthShouth for rehab.  She's stay there 8-12 days and it will put her well on the way to normal use of that hip.
