Mikie's Blog

• 11/8/2006 - Better...

Mikie is doing a bit better, but the wounds from both hips are draining now, the left as much as the right.  We have to change the bandages twice a day and they are well soaked with a mostly clear but pinkish drainage.  The blotchiness seems to be less and is fading so I think the antibiotic is doing its job.  Lorraine said while awake he was very active and somewhat agitated today, but he has been pretty well behaved this evening.  We have an appointment with Dr. Locke on Friday.  I think everything is going to be just fine, he just needs a little time to heal.
