• 11/10/2006 - Back From the Ortho-Doc
| We just got back from Dr. Locke's office and a short visit with Dr. Locke. Mikie was doing much better yesterday and even better today. Both incisions are draining but they don't appear to be infected. We still need to change the bandages twice a day. I've been putting some silver sulfadiazine cream (1%) on the wounds each day. The blotchiness is almost completely gone from his body and arms and legs and Mikie seems to be pretty confortable as long as you don't move his legs around very much. Both thighs are still quite swollen but it does look like it is getting better. Mikie was in a real good mood going to the doc and I think he enjoyed going out! We're back home and he is sacked out now, resting very comfortably with no pain reliever or Benadryl, just his normal meds. |
