What does Butler do again?...

I just got back from the The Boro where the band The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza was performing. It was completely bad ass. I'd like to personally thank Butler, Jessie, Layne, Mason and my main man Brad Thomson for inviting me. I really got a chance to finally talk to some of the other members of the band. Jessie's the front man and he calls the store to talk to Brad all the time so I'm always talking to him in passing or when he stops by sometimes. Butler and Brad are roommates so I always see him. I've met Layne a few times but didn't talk to him much and same goes for Mason but that changed tonight. Me and Mason shot the shit for about a half hour before they went on stage. One of the coolest people I've ever met in my life and Layne was great too. At the end when Jessie was thanking everyone for coming out he gave a special shout out to me the one and only B Teazy off the heazy fo' sheezy.

The bands got a lot of buzz in the local music scene around here and are widely regarded as one of the best unsigned metal bands out there. Their Myspace board is extremely popular, so popular in fact that the real Tony Danza went to the board and left them a message a few months back. They are working their asses off trying to get a decent record deal so they can just tour and put out songs. Their debut release Thank you Jason Dietz is being remastered through a one shot deal with indie label Corrosive Recordings and they've just been added to the bill at Hellfest a huge 3 day metal fest up in Trenton, New Jersey. Hellfest has been running since 1997 and gets a lot of radio hype and label reps looking to sign fresh talent so this could potentially mean huge exposure for the band. I wish them nothing but the best. Those guys deserve it.

Brad has been trying to get me out to a show forever but I'm so busy running things here so normally when I get off at Mapco I rush home and start checking everything out which takes hours but I love Brad to death and wanted to show my support for him and Danza. I average anywhere from 500 to 1000 emails a day so when I get home the email box is full mostly with spam or people wanting to swap links or sell me something but when you have that many emails it takes time to sort through all that shit, who really needs my help versus 150 letters selling porn and viagra. I keep my spam filters on full blast to knock most of that shit out but I always get real emails that get caught in the spam box so I end up sifting through a bunch of shit that I don't want to read just to make sure that my members actually get their emails answered. I even answer emails on the weekends which most web companies don't. Most times when shit breaks down I got to make a few phone calls to make things happen which is nearly impossible to do on the weekends but we rarely have any major downtime (knock on wood!) so it all works out. All in all a great night with great people. Now if I could just get my hands on some crack all would be right with the world.
