Love it or leave it!

Working at home tends to make me a bit squirrely. I tend to stay inside alot and watch cable or dvds and only go out to a movie or restaurant with my girlfriend. Some of my friends thought that I should get a part time job for a few hours a week just so I could come out of the closed off shell that I had developed so I did. I had this guy Matt I knew that was the assistant manager at one of the MAPCOs by my house so I talked to him and and he hooked me up with a part time job. I only work 30 hours a week so my schedule still gives me plenty of time to run MaDD HaTT and now that I'm working offline again I'm meeting new people and everyone says I'm a lot more sociable. I don't feel like I changed at all but I hear from every corner that I had become kind of dark and gloomy and now I'm happy again. I still feel the same but maybe I am different, I mean I know too many people that just sit at home in front of their computers and bullshit all day. I thought I had a pretty full life before but maybe I was wrong.

Anyway I was at work yesterday and I waited on these 2 young girls. Clearly they were sisters and if I had to make a guess I'd place them at ages 7 and 9. MAPCO is currently selling these green arm bracletes that say "Support our Troops" in an effort to raise money for our soldiers and their families. The 7 year old asked her sister to buy one of the bracelets to help support the troops and the 9 year old replied "I'm not going to support their killing!". Their father was behind them so I thought for sure that he would correct them, after all Tennessee is known as "The Volunteer State" and we have a lot of military people right here with us. He didn't say a word and they just paid for their stuff and left. I was highly offended by the comment though but she is a child and can't really expected to know better but the father should tell his daughters that the brave men who have fought and died to defend this great nation do indeed kill but they are doing it to insure that she grows up safe and in a free country. I hear so many Americans say that they hate this country or that we suck. I'm not asking you to support the war but we are there now and going home in defeat is not really an option.

How many other countries would allow you to openly walk around saying the country sucks and the leaders of the country suck and not expect to be at least arrested if not executed as enemies of the state? My friend Aaron got back from Iraq last summer. He needed a job so I hooked him up at MAPCO. He was waiting on a guy who saw the bracelets and said "I'm not buying one of those bracelets. I hate America." to which Aaron replied "Hey, I just got my ass home from Iraq fighting for YOUR ass so you need to shut that shit up or get the fuck out of here!" the guy said he was sorry and left and came back a few hours later to talk to Aaron and apologize. If this country sucks so bad why does EVERYBODY want to come here? Legally or illegally you name it we got it. Basically what I'm saying is if you are here and you're not happy with the way things are stop running your dick sucker and do something to try and change it like I don't know VOTE! Or maybe you should get the fuck out. Go to some other country and run your mouth there and see if they'll put up with it. Somewhere nice like say...Beirut. Love it or leave it bitch!
