Vengance is mine...

It has been my experience that I am generally a centralizing figure meaning that you either love me or hate me. There is no real in between on the issue. The people that love me really love me and the people that hate me really hate me. I have to admit that I am not the most sociable figure but I have tried to work on it. I have manners and I try to practice all of the known social graces when I'm in the public but people tend to make me edgy and I'm uncomfortable around them in larger settings. Even my really close friends when gathered in group settings tend to make me wince a bit. I'm a one on one guy so outside of that I get a little edgy. I also notice that the people that are my friends either tend to hate each other or are more drawn to each other than they are to me which again leaves me the odd man out. I met a guy at MAPCO that I thought was going to become a real close friend and at first it was like that but now he's acting all funny on me. He stopped returning my calls and my emails so I gave up on it. I believe the change came when we decided to do a website together. I've always thought that business and friendships don't mix so I was extremely reluctant to do the project at first but he kept insisting and we did it. At first it was going well but then I began to feel like he was doing things behind my back and he felt the same so we stopped trusting each other and if you don't trust someone you are certainly not going want to deal with them on a regular basis. I guess it's better that I know now as opposed to getting to wrapped up in something and getting the carpet pulled from under you. Business and friends are like oil and water... they don't mix.
