Just taking a break...

I realize that I've been quite the lazy blogger lately but I have had a lot of fun plotting my novel. I had forgotten how vast the world I had created for Brand had become. As I mentioned earlier I have enough story plots to fill at least 12 books. There is time travel, inter-dimensional travel, God and the Devil, hell I even plotted a Christmas story that has Santa Claus in it. I know that last one sounds cheesy but when I explained the premise re-examining the true origins of Santa Claus as a real person with human failings to some of my friends their eyes widened and they wanted to hear more. That's a few books away the first novel I'm writing will hopefully be the first of the core 3 books. After that I will begin telling more stories involving single characters all the main characters will still appear. The main female lead will get her own books as will the kids and one more main character. What I would love to do is write Brand in comic book form since that was one of the ways I first envisioned it. I'm a huge fan of writers like John Byrne, Chris Claremont, Frank Miller, Alan Moore, and Neil Gaiman. I actually named one of my main characters after Neil Gaiman as I was a huge fan of the work he did on the Sandman. Well time to get back at it.
