I've always been known as someone with a violent temper. Someone says or does something at my expense my reaction is to wish death on them and their entire family. I'm a big guy so I suffered through a lot of fat jokes all through school which I assume accounts for my unease in crowds as I have mentioned before but it also made me extremely defensive and quick tempered. I can't remember how many potential friends I have lost because they decided to crack a fat joke at the wrong moment. As I've gotten older I've had to learn that friends pick at each other. I certainly rib my friends so why shouldn't they rib me?
It wouldn't be normal to expect otherwise but what about when your friends stop being your friends? No one can be more petty than someone who feels that you've betrayed them,and because they were once your friends they know how to hit you where it hurts. I have one such ex friend right now and he's done a few things that have annoyed me...really minor things but of course my instinctual reaction would be to go over the top and take it way further than it should go.

50 cent was doing alot of press promoting his new CD The Massacre a few weeks back and being a big fan I watched a lot of the interviews that he did and during one on MTV he said something I totally agreed with. While talking about the beef that he has with Ja Rule when asked why he hasn't let up on the beef since he is clearly the victor he said "When you destroy you should destroy completely". If you merely defeat and weaken your foe he will retreat to lick his wounds and come back even more determined to destroy you. That's why the old Don wanted to kill the young Vito Corleone because he knew that if he allowed the boy to grow into a man he would seek vengeance on him. I often feel like the people who I fall out with should have hardships fall upon them. No soft stuff just the hard shit, death in the family, bankruptcy,identity theft,cancer the works. It's a failing in me but I am trying to overcome it. I have my finger on the button but at the moment I'm not pushing it.
